1) Linear or In-Line Booths – where the exhibits are lined up on either side or at the back
2) Peninsular Exhibits – where exhibits are arranged on three sides. Such arrangements generally need larger space (20′x20′).
3) Split-Island Exhibit – it is actually a peninsular exhibit that shares a back wall with anther peninsular exhibit
4) An island Exhibit – such an exhibit needs large space where the exhibit is located in the center and aisles are left on all four sides
Even the popularity of the d=trade show display category is different in different regions. Like in north America, trade show display rentals are very popular. But in South America and Asia, building a new booth every time is preferred. It is because of the cheap labor and availability of raw material. While in North America, the booth material is made from aluminum truss or hard wood.
The duration of the trade-shows in Europe is longer as it is all about longer conferences, closing deals etc. this makes the trade show displays a bit different there.
In the United States, there are thousands of companies, which sell or rent out trade show displays. Some of them have big showrooms and others sell online. If you are a first timer, it will be better if you go for trade show display rentals, if possible on a turnkey basis. When you are a few exhibitions old, you should start buying a few pieces and take the others on rent. That way you will be able to save a lot of money and at the same time can have a new stall each time you take part in a trade show.
